At last we can start being proud of America again! America can once again become the bastion of truth, integrity, and tolerance in the world. The idea that every human being on the planet deserves equality, liberty, freedom, and happiness can once again be demonstrated as the most successful ideology in the history of the human race. America is back, and I believe that the entire world is breathing easier now then they have for the past 8 years. I will never be able to forgive the Republicans, the Bush Administration, and to a lessor extent, the do-nothing Democrats of the last 8 years, for nearly ending the dream and ideology upon which this country was founded. This could have been the end of the great experiment in human dignity and respect that this country has represented since its birth. A government of the people, by the people, and for the people was toppled in 2000 and replaced by a dictatorship by the wealthy, of the wealthy, and for big business. But the good people of this country have finally seen through the deceit, lies, propaganda, SPIN, and information control of the Republicans and have kicked them out on their behinds. Make no mistake, the 2008 election was a slap-down of major proportions, and a complete rejection of the direction that this country has been forced into during the last 8 years. Once again, a sleeping lion has been awakened and a terrible wrong has been avenged. I am an American, and I am proud. To the rest of the world.... We are on your side again and we are your brothers and sisters again! BB
